THE 3 TIMER LW by LW COLLECTION
London concept store Labassa Woolfe and watch brand Linde Werdelin are thrilled to announce their latest collaboration with for a series of three new 3 Timer watches.
Ran by franco-anglo duo Johan Labassa and Joe Woolfe, their Fitzrovia “Gentleman’s salon” offers men’s tailoring combined with an antique shop and a cocktail bar. Jorn Werdelin and Joe Woolf have a long-standing friendship dating back to when Joe was a tailor on Savile Row. Both their brands not only share the same initials, LW, they also cater to people looking for unique brands that have a universe of their own.
The “chicken and egg” question:
This collaboration was the opportunity for them to explore the undeniable link between watches and tailoring in a man’s lifestyle and how each resonates with the other. The collection features 3 series of 3 Timer watches, each inspired by an iconic Labassa Woolfe hue: Basalt, Midnight Claret and All Black available in a limited edition of 9 pieces per colour.
“This collection is our collaborative answer to the question: Should you match your watch to your suit or match your suit to your watch?” Jorn Werdelin
The 3 timepieces will be unveiled on Thursday 1st November 2018 at an event at the Labassa Woolfe store on Percy Street.
About Linde Werdelin:
Linde Werdelin explores the heights of the mountains and the depths of the sea.
The brand was born out of a life-threatening event in the Swiss Alps, a 30 years friendship and an uncompromising drive for genuine quality and usefulness. In the winter of 1996, Jorn Werdelin, a keen mountaineer and off-piste skier, was taken by surprise in a bout of bad weather, got lost, skied off a cliff and broke his back.
In 2002, Jorn Werdelin partnered with his friend Morten Linde to develop a new idea: a highly crafted sports watch, that could be combined with a professional digital instrument to provide the right level of information at the right time for skiing and diving.
Today Morten and Jorn continue to develop and expand their interpretation of the two universes – skiing and diving – in their limited edition timepieces. The extreme beauty of the mountains and the sea acts as perpetual source of inspiration for the destiny of Linde Werdelin.
